Capital Data Science can trace its roots back to a merger between an accounting and capital markets advisory firm. The firms chose to join forces as they shared in common a focus on applying analytics to solve problems. Over time the company realized the knowledge capital they were building wasn't in accounting or capital markets, but in the analytical processes they were deploying to solve problems, and CDS was born.
P/E ratios? Technical chart reading? Indexing? At Capital Data Science we are asking the hard questions, namely: does the data support any of these strategies? What we've found is the processes employed by many "professionals" might as well be throwing darts at a dart board.
